Hill Country CASA Celebrates 30 Years of Advocacy for Abused Children

This year marks a significant milestone for Hill Country CASA – our 30th anniversary. Over the past 30 years, we have taken strides to ensure a safe future for Hill Country children in foster care, and so much of our success is thanks to you – CASA volunteers, collaborating agencies, faith communities, business and individual community supporters who build a network of help for children in need. Thank you for your support.

Community has always been central to our organization. Over the course of our history, we have strengthened longtime partnerships and continue to cultivate new relationships. Together, we have harnessed the power of community to improve outcomes for children in the foster care system due to issues of abuse or neglect.

Starting from a humble beginning with 15 volunteers, who served 24 children in 1989, we have grown into a network of more than 75 volunteers who are currently serving every child in foster care in Kerr, Kendall, Bandera and Gillespie Counties.

Throughout the year, we will celebrate our past while continuing to look to the future. We imagine a future where every child has the safe and loving home they deserve. We hope you will be a part of this future and join us as we continue to move forward with a unified goal.

There are many ways to support Hill Country CASA’s mission – we welcome you to join us in a way that is meaningful and comfortable for you.
